My Allstar Weekend Experience (WAY Long Overdue) 11/28/2010
11/28/2010 = ALLSTAR WEEKEND EXPERiENCE!!!!!
When we got there:
Alli and I got to Juanita's at around 12:30 to meet our friends Bri & Lauren (who happened to be the first ones there). We all chatted and all that good stuff. Cameron came out first and he was wearing blue shorts, a gray sweater, and shoes with the wheels. I'm not going to lie, I was starstruck when he came out of the bus. He was all like "Hi there. How are you?" and all that good stuff. Then he told us he'd be right back. So, we were all still chatting with each other and SUDDENLY (like that play on words? LOL.) I saw the door to the stage was open and Cameron was just standing there looking at cute and what not. Let's just say that it scared me a little. I mean, I didn't hear the door open or anything. He came up to us and Bri asked him if he wore his Grinch pajamas and he said "Yes I did! I swear to sweet baby Jesus I did!" Of course we laughed and all that good stuff. Then he had to go back on the bus. :(
Action Item (one of the opening acts...they're awesome BTW.) arrived and came up to us and said "thanks for coming!" I got a hug from Anthony, Brian, and Mark. That was awesome!
All of us girls kept on chatting (Yes, we're good at that! Haha!) and Zach came out and talked to us for about 15 minutes. Asked us how old we are were, what our majors were (all of us (girls) are in college), where we're from, etc. Alli told him that "My best friend brought me here as a birthday gift!" He told me that I'm "a good friend!" and I was all "Yeah, I am!" :) Let's just say that it was the most amazing 15 minutes of my life! (Yes, Zach's the one that I have a crush on!)
Yes, I saw Dillon, Michael, & Nathan, but sadly didn't get to chat with them. But that's OK. Just seeing their gorgeous faces was good enough for me! :)
The Scene Aesthetic (another opening act) arrived and (of course) Stephen Jerzak (another opening act) was the last to arrive.
VIP Meet & Greet:
Seth Scott (one of their tour managers, who is awesome BTW.) gave us our VIP passes and escorted us inside the venue. My adrenaline was really running high! I was very anxious! And SUDDENLY they arrived! Seth said the funniest thing. He said "this will be the day that you'll never forget!" (in a funny accent I might add!) Bri went first and then Lauren went.
I made Alli go next so my adrenaline will run high for a little bit longer. She gave (in order) Cameron, Zach, Nathan, & Michael hugs and Cameron said, "I like your hair! It makes me want to go see Tangled!" Then everyone smiled for the photo.
And finally it was my turn. Cameron was in his own little world and he noticed I was there. He gave a HUGE hug. My head landed on his chest and I got to hear his sweet voice in my ear. Let's say that was music to my ears. :) Then Zach (Eeeek!) gave me a hug, but I don't remember how it felt since Cameron basically squished the life out of me. Haha. But it was amazing never the less. Then I hugged Nathan and Michael. Then (you guessed it) we all smiled for the photo. I was super happy 'cause Zach had his arm around me! Eeeek! (Fan girl moment in my head!) Turned out pretty good if I do say so myself. Then Alli and I got our spots on the front row! :D
The show:
Action Item went on first. They're AH-MAZiNG! They first sang "Somewhere Out There". (BTW...you should request "Somewhere Out There" on Radio Disney...just sayin'!) Brian (lead singer) sang the line (very beginning of the song) "and all I need is you" to me! I was super happy!...and that made me love him even more! Then they sang "Boy With The Microphone". That song spoke to me. Haha. Can't remember the rest of the songs in order, but they were "Defenseless", "Without You", and (I believe) "When Everything Falls Back Down." Then Stephen Jerzak came on. He's hilarious and very talented. His band's bus broken down so he played his set acoustically. Some of the songs that he sang include "Cute", "She Said", "King", and Taylor Swift's "White Horse." The Scene Aesthetic hit the stage after Stphen Jerzak. Unfortunately I didn't know any of their songs, but they were good. The only songs I recognized that they did was a cover of Jay Sean's "Down" and Taylor Swift's "Mine."
Then finally...ALLSTAR WEEKEND CAME ON STAGE! YAY! They're setlist (and highlighs from each song!):
- "A Different Side of Me"
- A GREAT song to open the show with.
- My new lil' 6 year old friend got waved at by her (and my) favorite ADUB, Zach!
- "Catching Up"
- Such a fun song.
- "Hey, Princess"
- Super hot!
- Kept thinking that Zach was going to fall on me! (Yes, I was front row and right in front of Zach!)
- "Can't Sleep Tonight"
- It was a wonder I was able to sleep later that night. My mind was on ADUB.
- "Magic"
- This was pure "magic!"
- Nathan's rap skills = AWESOME!
- Cameron & Nathan kept acting cute throughout the song! :)
- "Clock Runs Out"
- Another fun song!
- Very aggressive, but fun!
- "Come Down With Love"
- "I put my shirt on inside out" (Everyone - - - "Ou-ou-ou-out!")
- Such a sweet song! LOVE it!
- "Amy"
- Tried to get my new 6 year old buddy on stage for this song, but my other new friend got up there! So excited (and a little jealous...like everyone else! LOL.) for her!
- Looking at Zach's muscles. = HOTT!
- "You're Still The One"
- AWESOME cover!
- Zach on harmonica. = MAJOR HOTNESS AND MAJOR SEXiNESS! (Yes, I find harmonica players VERY sexy!)
- Apparently on one of the pictures I took during this song, it looks like Zach's looking at me! Ahhh!!!
- "Journey To The End of My Life"
- AWESOME acoustic performance!
- Cameron sang to my lil' 6 year old buddy!
- You could really tell the guys were having so much fun on stage!
- "Here With You"
- Sweet song!
- "You're taped to my wall like you're glued to my brain" = such a true statement (it's part of the lyrics!)
- "The Weekend"
- The best thing ever happened during this song! ZACHARY DAViD PORTER got down on his knees and sang the line "wouldn't it be nice" RiGHT iN MY FACE!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
- "Dance Forever"
- Such a fun "Dance" song! ;)
- Cameron asked my new lil' buddy if she wanted to dance with him on stage, sadly she didn't want to.
- Sad the show was over...but enjoyed every moment!
After the show:
Once the show was over, Alli and I chatted with some of our new friends, bought some bracelets, and got Action Item's CD (BTW...you should totally get it! It's called "The Stronger The Love.") Once ADUB came out for the after-show meet-n-greet, we waited in line with a few of my new friends.
When it was my turn, I handed my camera to Seth (who's awesome BTW!) and stood between Cameron and Zach. Zach looked at me and said "hey!" My heart was definitely going 100 miles per hour at that moment! OMG, he has the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen! No joke! So, we posed and Seth said "say cheese-itz!" When Seth said that, I was thinking "Cheese-Itz? Why cheese-itz?" Cameron said something to me after the photo was taken, but my mind was all up in a fog that I totally forgot what he said...dang it! :(
To sum of November 28, 2010, my first Allstar Weekend experience...iT WAS THE BEST EXPERiENCE OF MY LiFE!

- I have a box full of silly bands.

- Lately I've been listening to a bunch of 80's rock.
- If I could go back in time, I would LOVE to go back to the 80's.
- I love dogs.
- I sing in the car ALL the time.
- I have 2 pairs of Chuck Taylors.
- I've never been to the Arkansas State Fair.
- I'll listen to anything...except screamo. It's just dumb!
- I've never lived outside of Arkansas.
- One of my goals in life is to move to Missouri.
- I'm a morning person! Yuck! I wish I wasn't!
- I had my wisdom teeth cut out this past summer...and I kept the teeth. (Weird? I know!)
- I'm a Christian and no one can take that away from me! NO ONE!

Life Is A Song...or a Blog!
Hey bloggers! What's up? Wow! I can't believe I'm writing my first blog! Well...let's get started.
Can't believe summer break is coming to a close. I've had the best summer ever! So many things happened that I never thought would happen! Well...here's some of the highlights of Summer 2010!
May 2010
~ I moved back home! Yay!
~ Went to Branson, MO with my grandparents.
~ Saw The Haygoods with my grandparents.
~ Went to Magic Springs with the bestie.
June 2010
~ Won free tickets to see The Haygoods on 6/15 for Ladies Night!
~ Got to hold Dominic's microphone...again...AND...got another kiss on the cheek from him! Ahhh!!!
July 2010
~ Celebrated my 20th birthday!
~ 7/28 Went to see The Haygoods for my birthday! It's a tradition!
~ Won 2 free Hugbears! (I'll explain what a Hugbear is another day! LOL!)
~ Saw The Twelve Irish Tenors for the first time! Ah-mazing!!!!!!
August 2010
~ Though August just begun, so many things are happening this month!
~ 8/21 Going to see Brooks & Dunn before they go their separate ways!
~ 8/8 Going to see Boys Like Girls in concert!
~ 8/9 Let's just say that's going to be a long day!
~ 8/13 Classes start! Yuck!
So those are some of the highlights of my summer! Anything exciting happen to you this summer? For me, this has honesty been the best summer ever!
